TOLEDO, Ohio -- Toledo police want to know who carjacked a pregnant woman at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon while she was at work. The carjacking happened around noon at the Aurora Gonzalez Community Center on South Broadway, NewsChannel5 partner ONN reported. The center's CEO, Michelle Toth, said her employee went out to the parking lot to make a call on her cell phone. That's when a man who was pacing back and forth in the back alley approached, put a gun to her head and stole her car.Toth had just left, but came back when she received a frantic call about the attack."Panic for my staff. We are such a field-driven group. We are in and out. We are here until late at night. We're here very early in the morning, and we really feel very frightened," Toth said. The center offers classes on domestic violence, parenting, and anger management, but no security when it comes to the parking lot.A staff meeting is now planned to discuss safer practices on daily procedures.
