PARMA, Ohio -- State Rep. Timothy DeGeeter of Parma want to expand Ohio's Safe Haven law.The law allows mothers to give up their newborns to hospital, fire or police stations, no questions asked.The last time the law was used in the area was in December at Parma Community Hospital.DeGeeter made his announcement Friday at the hospital about how he wants to expand the law from newborns of up to 3 days old to newborns almost 5 days old.
