The seven teens accused of beating a Shaker Heights lawyer on New Year's Eve will soon face a judge.

The one adult, 19-year-old Joseph Wilson, was indicted Thursday on attempted murder charges, as well as aggravated robbery, felonious assault and kidnapping charges.

"They had weapons, knives, pull sticks to beat him, and they kept on beating him for no apparent reason but for the sake of doing so," said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason.

Wilson will be arraigned on Jan. 23. The six juveniles will be bound over as adults and will be arraigned a week later.
