Rapper Freed On $50,000 Bond On Carrying Concealed Charges

CLEVELAND -- A rapper is facing serious charges after having a gun while going through security at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, NewsChannel5 reported. Jasiel Robinson, also known as Yung Joc, was arrested early Sunday morning at a security checkpoint. He was charged Monday with carrying a concealed weapon. Robinson was freed Monday on $50,000 bond after he was formally charged with the felony. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. Robinson's laywer said the performer maintains his innocence. Authorities said they found a loaded semiautomatic gun in his carry-on luggage. Along with local charges, Robinson, 27, could face federal charges per the Air Piracy Act.He is Grammy Award-nominated American rapper from Georgia. He is best know for his first single -- "It's Goin' Down."
