CLEVELAND -- The future of Geauga Lake's most famous roller coaster remains up in the air.Cedar Fair is still putting the Big Dipper up for sale, despite an appeal from Sen. Sherrod Brown to keep the coaster in Aurora. The company wants to find a new place for the coaster to run, and if it and the other rides don't sell, they'll be put up for auction. In a letter last month, Brown urged Cedar Fair to consider keeping the Big Dipper where it is, maybe as the centerpiece of a retail and amusement complex or an amusement park museum. Cedar Fair said in September that it was shutting down Geauga Lake because of low attendance.
