Man Shot To Death During Alleged Carjacking

A man was shot to death Friday on Cleveland's east side during an apparent carjacking.

The shooting occurred just before 10 a.m. on East 127th Street.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old James Reese of Cleveland. He was shot in the leg and was taken to Huron Hospital, where he died.

The victim's car was found abandoned late Friday afternoon on East 115th Street.

The gunman has been described as a black man in his mid- to late 20s, weighing about 275 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue jacket.
