CLEVELAND -- Cleveland schools are taking another step toward healing in the aftermath of last month's SuccessTech shooting.

The Cleveland Botanical Garden is planting a memorial tree Friday at SuccessTech Academy in remembrance of the Oct. 10 shooting.

On that day, a 14-year-old student went on a shooting rampage inside the school, injuring two teachers and a student. The shooter then turned the gun on himself.

Since then, the school district has announced sweeping changes in security to help make schools safer.

The hope is that the planting of the memorial tree will help bring closure to the tragedy.
