LODI, Ohio -- High school students in the Cloverleaf Local School District in Westfield Township did not have classes on Wednesday after threatening graffiti was found on a restroom wall. "We had two forms of graffiti in the restrooms with the threat of violence for Wednesday at the high school, and we felt it would be in the best interest to close for the day, cancel classes and activities to give the sheriff's department a chance to do an investigation," said Superintendent Bruce Hulme. One of the threats mentioned Nov. 7. The graffiti was cleaned-up and police were notified. Parents said they hate that this happened, but they're glad administrators didn't hesitate. "I'd rather my kids be out of school for a day than something happen that's tragic," said Ronda Leffel, a parent. Administrators are compiling a list of possible suspects for police. Hulme said they may contact parents Wednesday night about possible changes like entering through only one door, and maybe asking students to not any bags to class Thursday. Those decisions are not final yet.
