CLEVELAND -- The surveillance tape of what happened inside SuccessTech Academy when a student began shooting his classmates and teachers will be released today. Police will release the video during a news conference at 1 p.m. Police said Asa Coon, 14, shot two students and two teachers before killing himself on Oct. 10. Days before the shooting, Coon was suspended for fighting. Police believe he returned to the school in retaliation. Since the shooting, the Cleveland Metropolitan School Board has approved a $4 million safety plan to equip all schools with metal detectors and security guards. Police said the video shows two of the four victims getting shot, but the scenes are not overtly graphic because the cameras are about 100 feet away.
