Teens Arrested On Rape Charges In Alleged Hazing Incident

TALLMADGE, Ohio -- Two Tallmadge teens have been charged with rape in connection with an alleged hazing incident.

Police said the charges against 16- and 17-year-old stem from an incident at Tallmadge High School in August.

The 16-year-old was charged with a felony count of delinquency by rape and a misdemeanor count of delinquency by hazing.

The 17-year-old was charged with a felony count of delinquency by complicity to commit rape and a misdemeanor count of delinquency by hazing.

The teens are being held at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility. A hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
