Wal-Mart provided ABC with exclusive access to their distribution centers to see exactly how the company operates and what Americans buy.

About 300 trucks come and go to distribution centers across the country each day.

ABC reported that 208 million Americans, which is double the number of people who turned out to vote in the last presidential election, shop at Wal-Mart each year.

Wal-Mart also shared information about consumer spending habits across the country.

The popular chain said while most Americans buy white eggs, Northeasterners like brown eggs.

Additionally, people in the Northeast prefer a bagel while people in Houston, Texas, prefer doughnuts.

Maine consumers purchase the most cat food annually.

When Wal-Mart's storm trackers see a hurricane or storm approaching, more pop tarts are shipped, ABC reported.
