POSTED: 1:55 am EDT August 26, 2007

Police in Oxford said a Miami University student who was kidnapped last year is once again the victim of a violent crime, NewsChannel5 partner ONN reported.

Investigators said Ryan Coli, 20, was attacked again. Officers said they found him lying in a flower bed outside a city building. Police said they believe that Coli was the victim of a random attack.

Last year, Coli was kidnapped near campus and beaten. Police said three people from Richmond who were convicted in the case are still in prison.
