CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and U.S. District Attorney Greg White made an announcement Wednesday about recent indictments in connection with alleged criminal activities.They said they are part of a new partnership called One Voice, and it has netted 140 indictments on various drugs and weapons violations.Police said they believe they have taken dangerous criminals off the streets in Cleveland's Hough neighborhood. Several law enforcement agencies joined forces to crack down on two local gangs.The 16-month investigation targeted the Hough-Heights gang and the Waste 5 gang.Police said they have a laundry list of evidence, including 16 guns, seven pipebombs, 266 grams of crack cocaine, 55 grams of powder cocaine and liters of PCP.The investigation ended with the arrests of more than three dozen suspects."We are arresting the worst of the worst. The 40 individuals that were indicted have a total of 450 arrests and an astounding 152 felony convictions," said Chris Sadowski of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.Police said the Hough-Heights gang was responsible for supplying all of Cleveland with PCP.
