CLEVELAND -- A historical landmark in the heart of Cleveland will be rededicated Tuesday. The Euclid Beach Park arch on Lakeshore Boulevard near East 160th Street was hit by a car and nearly destroyed in January. Since then it was restored. Tuesday's event will include an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments, giveaways and Euclid Beach Park memorabilia. The public is invited. The free event begins at 10:30 a.m. Euclid Beach Park opened in 1895 and closed in 1969. The arch is on private property and is a designated Cleveland Landmark. The old park is now an apartment complex.
