Man, Woman Sought In Rash Of Local Home Burglaries

STOW, Ohio -- A rash of break-ins in Summit County has authorities asking for help.Police said they believe a woman and a man are working together in a series of about 15 break-ins in Stow. They also said the woman may be using a stolen credit card.Authorities said someone is kicking in doors in some neighborhoods and getting away with money and jewelry.Police said the crooks should not be taken lightly."I think anybody that breaks into a person's home should be considered dangerous. I would not say otherwise, so yes, I think there's an element of danger to the average citizen, absolutely," said Lt. Rick Meyers.The woman's partner is described as a black man who weighs 310 to 340 pounds. He may be driving a white or silver Ford Tempo or Taurus.Anyone with information on the case can contact Summit County Crime Stoppers at 330-434-COPS.
