RAVENNA, Ohio -- Jurors in Portage County reached a verdict Wednesday in the trial of Randy Resh. After deliberating since Tuesday morning, Resh was found not guilty on all charges. Resh was being tried a second time for a 1988 murder of a Randolph Township woman. He was convicted in 1990 and spent 16 years in prison before the Ohio Supreme Court threw out his conviction in December."I cant explain it. I never thought this day would come. Words can't explain it," Resh said.He said the first thing he was going to do was to cut electronic monitoring device off his ankle. Resh was one of two men getting a new trial in the kidnapping and slaying of Connie Nardi nearly 20 years ago. Prosecutors said Resh and Bob Gondor were seen at the same bar Nardi was at the night before she was found dead. Gondor's second trial was scheduled for May 14. However, officials will decide in the next few days if the trial will go on.
