Lakewood Teacher Resigns Amid Investigation

Allegations Surfaced Of Inappropriate Relationship With Student

LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- The Lakewood Board of Education Monday accepted the resignation of a Lakewood High School teacher who is the subject of a police investigation.

William Rabel stepped down after allegations surfaced about an inappropriate relationship with a 12th-grade student.

The district said it is working with Lakewood police and the state department of education on their investigations.

No charges have been filed against Rabel.
