CLEVELAND -- The retrial began this week for a man convicted in the 1988 slaying of a Portage County mother.

Randy Resh and Bob Gondor were convicted in 1990 for the murder of Connie Nardi, but in June 2002 a judge discredited the evidence that led to those convictions.

Last December, the Ohio Supreme Court ordered new trials to take place.

Prosecutors began a new case against Resh Monday. Resh and Gondor were seen at the same bar Nardi was at the night before she was found dead.
