Lakers Re-Sign Vujacic

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers officially re-signed guard Sasha Vujacic to a multi-year contract Monday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Vujacic played in 72 regular-season games last year, averaging a career-best 8.8 points per game to go with 2.1 rebounds per contest. He also set a franchise single-season record by shooting 43.7 percent from three-point range.

The 24-year-old native of the former Yugoslavia was the Lakers' 27th pick in the 204 draft, and has averaged 5.2 points, 1.8 rebounds per game. He holds a career 39.4 shooting percentage from the field, and 38.1 percent from beyond the arc.
