Cavs Plan Activities For Fans

Highlights Include Fan Fest, Fan Text Message Service

The Cavs kick off round one of the NBA playoffs on Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena, when they will take on the Washington Wizards in the first game of a best-of-seven series.

A Fan Fest will take place before every home playoff game on Gateway Plaza. Activities will include free interactive games, Cavaliers Girls and Scream Team performances, contests and prizes.

Fans attending every home game will receive free Rise Up! T-shirts and rally towels.

When the Cavs hit the road, the team will host watch parties for fans to attend. Times and locations will be announced soon.

Fans can get coverage of the playoffs on Cavs.com, and a new service this year allows fans to sign up to receive text messages with the latest Cavs news.

Fans can text "RISEUP" to 74499 to sign up for the text messaging service. They can also download a "Rise up and Cheer" wallpaper to be entered in a contest which will randomly ask fans to show their wallpaper – and can win a free T-shirt.
