CLEVELAND - There’s some good news for job seekers around northeast Ohio. Two employers are trying to fill thousands of positions with really big job fairs this week.
Urban Farmer , a new Cleveland restaurant, is recruiting for 200 jobs , including line cooks, server staff, bartenders and more. They’re welcoming applicants, who are encouraged to bring resumes and come prepared for interviews, on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cleveland Public Auditorium & Conference Center at 500 Lakeside Avenue East.
This Saturday, March 29, Cedar Point opens from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to hire more than 5,000 people for over 70 different kinds of jobs.
Cedar Point employees can get free admittance all summer long, low-cost employee housing (if qualified), appreciation events and a recreation center, among other things. College students can apply for paid internship positions for college credit.
