Bug Juice International, Inc., of Michigan, and Ohio Beverage Systems have recalled drinks for plastic or metal shaving contamination, according to two press releases.

Bug Juice International reported it voluntarily recalled 46,406 cases of its product due to process deviations that occurred in an co-pack facility not owned or operated by Bug Juice.

The company said the deviations could result in contamination by plastic or metal shavings, which could be harmful if consumed.

Bug Juice International said no reports of illness associated with the products have come forward to date.

The company explained the recall was for products produced in February 2016 and distributed nationally.

The products recalled were bottles or cases marked with a case code that ends with a "C" and bottle code ending in "OBC."

Ohio Beverage Systems announced a voluntary recall of seven flavors of Quenchy Fruit-flavored drinks.

The company said this recall was related to an equipment malfunction, which also could result in contamination by plastic or metal shavings.

Ohio Beverage said 5,840 cases were included in the recall, which were produced between Feb. 15 and March 16.
