Giant Eagle has recalled pretzels it sold in its Parma store bakery department last week.
New Year's pretzels sold since Dec. 26 is safe for consumption for people without walnut allergies, but the store said that people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts could have an allergic reaction if they eat them.
Customers with walnut allergies should throw it away or return it to their local Giant Eagle or Market District store for a refund. Call 1-800-533-2324 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with questions.
