'Joe the Coupon Guy' gives tips on where you can save on St. Patricks Day

This St. Patrick's Day, you can celebrate by taking part in deals marking the weekend occasion.

Joe Daugirdas, who runs the website "Joe the Coupon Guy," tracked down several deals and coupons for the holiday weekend.

For those looking to make a traditional Irish dinner, Discount Drug Mart is offering cabbage for 25 cents a pound, a 5 pound bag of red skin potatoes for $2, and Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur for $17.99 (plus a $5 rebate sticker on the bottle).

Dave's Supermarket is offering Groebels or Gynsberg corned beef points for $2.99 a pound and flats for $3.99 a pound.

Marc's is offering corned beef flats for $3.49 a pound and points for $2.49 a pound, 3 pound bags of red potatoes are two for $3, and cabbage is 29 cents a pound.

Valu King is offering cabbage for 25 cents a pound. Open Pit BBQ sauce and Plochman's Mustard are free after $10 purchase.

Aldi is offering 16 ounce baby carrots for 49 cents, 10 ounce grape tomatoes for 59 cents, cauliflower for 99 cents, 3 pound bags of onions for 49 cents, 3 pounds of red potatoes for 99 cents, and cabbage for 69 cents.

Beer rebates can be found on beer displays or on the beer itself at many stores, including Dave's Supermarket, Giant Eagle, Acme, and Buehler's.

Murphy's Beer offers a $2 rebate with any corned beef purchase. Shoppers can get a $4 rebate with the purchase of any meat or deli item (1lb minimum) and a 6 pack or larger of Killian's Irish Red Premium Lager.

Last, the purchase of a 750 ml bottle of James Whiskey has a rebate for $5 off beer.
