CLEVELAND - NewsChannel5 received information Tuesday afternoon from the Ohio Lottery's communications director indicating the agency is exploring the possibility of adding a $30 instant ticket to the selection of games already on the market.
Danielle Frizzi-Babb told us the Ohio Lottery could boost prizes and give patrons a better chance of winning for the upper level scratch-offs.
She also confirmed scratch-off ticket sales have not been as strong as what the lottery saw at this time a year ago.
She additionally confirmed other states already have instant tickets reaching $50.
There's no timetable yet for when a decision on a $30 ticket would be made.
