CLEVELAND - Facebook is testing a new setting that will send you fewer emails. But it also means you won't know when your name is added to a post or comment.
Facebook sent emails out saying, "We're trying out a new feature to reduce the amount of email you receive from Facebook. Starting today, we are turning off most individual email notifications and instead, we'll send you a summary only if there are popular stories you may have missed. You can turn individual emails back on and restore all your original settings at any time."
With this new option, Facebook is only sending a summary of popular stories. Simply change the settings to always be notified of a post or comment with your name.
