CLEVELAND -- Whether it's a $1 million home in Brecksville or a $27,000 house in Cleveland, a person's home is their castle. Howard Hanna multimillion dollar producing real estate agent Sherry Callahan said most of our homes are worth more now than the day we bought them."Three to 5 percent, that is hot for us," Callahan said. The average sale price was $39,000 and increase of 38 percent.No. 4 on the list is 44068, which is North Kingsville in Ashtabula County.The average sale price was $167,300 -- a 40 percent increase over the 2004 third quarter average.Prices really jumped in Geauga County's Huntsburg ZIP code 44046.The average price was $312,800, an increase of 47 percent.Like the prices in the 44280 ZIP code in Valley City in Medina County, the average price was $320,000 and increase 55 percent since 2004.The No. 1 ZIP code was 44003 in Andover in Ashtabula County.The average sale price was $92,000, an increase of 56 percent over 2004.Shapiro said don't get too excited, because look what happens when 5 On Your Side compares the 2005 third quarter average price with the third quarter of 2003.The average price was $87,800 in the third quarter of 2003.
