CLEVELAND -- Have you been thinking about changing cell phone companies, but haven't because you want to keep your same phone number?
Troubleshooter Chris Caswell reported that a U.S. court of appeals made a decision that cell phone customers can keep their phone numbers if they switch wireless providers.
Cell phone industry experts said that as more people switch providers, competition will skyrocket. That, in turn, will probably lead to lower cell phone plans.
There are 146 million cell phone subscribers in the United States.
