PORT CLINTON, Ohio -- I scream, you scream -- but if you'd like to own an ice cream store in northern Ohio, you'll have to write the best essay. The owner of Brown's Dairy Plaza in Port Clinton has launched a contest to give it away. Brenda Bou Sliman also will throw in a $150,000 home in the area. Contestants will have to pay $250 and write a 500-word essay explaining why they want the store. Bou Sliman said she was urged to buy the business three years ago by her daughter, who was six at the time.
