St. Petersburg, FL -- (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians have placed pitcher Matt Ginter on the 15-day disabled list and will add pitcher Anthony Reyes to the roster to make the start for Friday's game against Toronto.Ginter has a right forearm strain. He last pitched on August 3 against Minnesota and took the loss after allowing five runs on five hits in six innings of a 6-2 setback to the Twins. In four starts since being recalled from Triple-A Buffalo, the right-hander has a record of 1-3 with a 5.14 earned run average. He has lost each of his last three outings after beating Tampa Bay in his season debut on July 12. Reyes was acquired by the Indians from St. Louis in a July 26 trade that sent pitcher Luis Perdomo to the Cardinals. He was 2-0 with a 2.77 ERA in two starts with Triple-A Buffalo since joining the organization. In 10 relief outings with the Cardinals earlier this season, Reyes was 2-1 with a save and a 4.91 ERA. The right-hander owns a career big league record of 10-24 with a 5.38 ERA in 53 games, including 38 starts. He started and won Game 1 of the 2006 World Series for the Cardinals against Detroit. The Indians have also optioned pitcher Tom Mastny to Buffalo and will add pitcher Brendan Donnelly to the roster on Friday. Mastny was 1-2 with a 10.80 ERA in nine games, including one start, for the Tribe this season. Donnelly will pitch in the majors for the first time this season after recovering from Tommy John surgery performed last August while he was with the Boston Red Sox. The 36-year-old right-hander was signed by the Indians in February and has been rehabbing at extended spring training, Single-A Kinston and Buffalo. He was 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in six outings at Buffalo. Donnelly has a career record of 25-9 with four saves and a 2.88 ERA in 303 relief appearances with the Angels and Red Sox. He was a member of the Angels' World Series championship team in 2002 and last year with Boston was 2-1 with a 3.05 ERA in 27 appearances before the elbow injury ended his season.
