(Sports Network) - Brandon Watson extended his hitting streak to 43 games on Sunday, breaking a record that stood for 95 years in the International League.

Watson was only 1-for-5 in a 9-8, 11-inning Clippers loss to Ottawa but his leadoff single off J.D. Durbin in the sixth made history.
