CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Auto Show will host at least seven interactive Ride-N-Drive events, more than ever before and more than any other auto show in the nation.
That's thanks to the size of the I-X Center. Other cities don't have a facility that can accommodate as many events.
"So far, we have Ride-N-Drive events scheduled for Kia, Subaru, Chevy, Buick, GMC, Toyota and Chrysler," said Dennis Rose, floor manager of the Cleveland Auto Show, "And there's a good chance we may get an eighth Ride-N-Drive in addition to those."
In addition, one of the show's most popular indoor ride attractions, Camp Jeep, will be back this year. This indoor event allows show attendees to experience the trail-rated capabilities of Jeep vehicles.
The course traverses a number of obstacles, showing capabilities such as vehicle articulation, ground clearance, maneuverability and traction. While on the course, riders will learn how to negotiate off-road challenges such as steep grades, rocky trails and log crossings.
