New movie on Jesus to hit theaters

The makers of the new film "Son of God" say they reached out to other faiths in making the movie, which opens Friday.
The production comes a decade after "The Passion of the Christ" and is spun out of the hugely successful "The Bible" miniseries. "Son of God" plays up the political maneuvering that led to the crucifixion of Jesus.
It has also won an endorsement from the Anti-Defamation League's Abraham Foxman, one of the Jewish leaders who denounced Mel Gibson's 2004 blockbuster "The Passion of the Christ."
