Central Christian Church raises awareness, donations for Cleveland Sight Center

CLEVELAND - A celebration will be held Sunday afternoon at Central Christian Church which has raised money for the Cleveland Sight Center.

Cleveland Sight Center's mission is "to empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential and to shape the community's vision of that potential." The agency inspires Rev. Janice Hannah-Hardy, senior pastor of Central Christian Church, daily as she handles CSC's employment services.

Last year, Hannah-Hardy thought about what she could do to inform Cleveland's African-American community about CSC's invaluable services.

At the celebration, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., she will reveal her thoughts to a crowd at the church.

The celebration will also include a choral performance by the "Braille Notes," a presentation about CSC, testimonies from CSC's young clients and an EYE-Dea Pop Up Shop featuring useful products sold at CSC's EYE-Dea store to help those with vision loss live more safely and accomplish daily tasks with greater ease.
