Cats at the Cleveland APL are looking for forever homes, adoptions fees waived & reduced June 6-7

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Animal Protective League took in nearly 160 cats this week alone and representatives from the shelter say they do not have room to take in more.

For this weekend only, the APL is waiving all adoption fees for cats one-year-old and up and are reducing the cost of cats less than one to $50. The fee for a second cat or kitten will be $20.

The Cleveland APL does not euthanize healthy, friendly or pets they do not have room for. However, the shelter will have to reduce the number of pets it can take in if these cats do not find homes.

All adoptable animals at the APL have been spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, have received age appropriate vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas, and come with helpful species-specific animal care information, a free initial veterinary exam, and are eligible for 30-45 days of free ShelterCare pet health insurance.

For more information about any animals at the Cleveland APL call 216-771-4616 or visit their website.
