Let's Dish Host Chris Koetke shares his creamy Avocado Sauce recipe

CLEVELAND - For a tasty addition to your next homemade Mexican meal, try Chris Koetke's Creamy Avocado Sauce. The Let's Dish host has served this dip in many restaurants throughout Mexico, and he want to share the delicious recipe with you.

Recipe for Avocado Sauce

Difficulty: Easy

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 0 minutes

Yield:

 

2 very ripe avocados, halved, pitted, peeled, and cut into large dice

2 Tablespoons minced celery

1/3 cup minced onion

½ cup sour cream

1-2 jalapeno chilies

1 clove garlic, minced

PLEASE COMPLETE Salt to taste

PLEASE COMPLETE Lime juice to taste

2 Tablespoons minced cilantro

 

1.       Put avocado, celery, onion, sour cream, jalapeno, and garlic in blender.  Blend until smooth.  Add water as needed if it becomes too thick.

2.       Remove contents from blender and mix in remaining ingredients.

3.       Serve with chips, raw vegetables, or with Mexican dishes.
