Let's Dish host Chris Koetke shares his Asian BBQ Salmon recipe

CLEVELAND - Salmon is a great tasting and versatile fish that's also easy on the budget. It can also benefit from intense flavors like Let's Dish host Chris Koetke's Asian BBQ inspired dish.

Recipe for Asian BBQ Salmon

Difficulty: Easy

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 8-12 minutes

Serves: 4

 

4  6-8 oz portions of salmon

1 Tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

4 Tablespoons oyster sauce

6 Tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 Tablespoon Asian chile paste

Zest of ½ orange

Juice of 1 orange

2 Tablespoons black bean sauce

 

1.       Combine all ingredients except for salmon.  Reserve.

2.       Grill salmon on a hot grill (about 4-6 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the salmon and the temperature of the grill).  When the salmon is turned over, brush liberally with the BBQ sauce. 

3.       When the salmon is done, additional BBQ sauce can be applied just before serving.
