6 sweet Italian sausage links
12 ounce can domestic beer (not dark)
1 cup chicken broth
1 large red pepper, sliced
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 large yellow pepper, sliced
1 medium Vidalia onion, sliced
6 soft hot dog buns
Preheat gas grill to medium high.
Pour the beer and chicken broth in a medium-sized tin foil pan and place it on the grill.
Add the peppers and onions to the beer mixture and continue to heat until the mixture boils. Add the sausages to the beer mixture and cook for about 6-8 minutes or until cooked through.
Using tongs, remove the sausage from the beer mixture and place them directly on the grill. Grill sausages until there is a char, about 4 minutes.
Remove the sausages and serve with cooked peppers and onions and topped with Dijon mustard.
