Man On Scooter Killed After Colliding With Car

AVON, Ohio -- A man on a scooter was killed in a crash Friday in Avon.

Police said H. Robert Bueck, 41, of Avon Lake, died when his scooter collided with a car at about 2:15 p.m. at Soney Ridge and Kinzel roads.

Kimberley M. Fantozzi was driving southbound on Stoney Ridge Road, turning left onto Kinzel Road when she collided with the scooter that was traveling northbound.

Bueck was transported to Avon Emergency Care Center, where he died from the injuries in the crash.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
