CLEVELAND -- Two people have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of John Maruschak.Police said 19-year-old Aaron Wulff and 26-year-old Alex Wulff were arrested on charges of felonious assault and kidnapping.Police said Maruschak, 25, is still considered a missing person.Meanwhile, a 911 call from a neighbor of Alex Wulff's on July 16, indicated Wulff was beating an individual with a baseball bat.Police said the 911 call operator didn't take appropriate action after a caller claimed they saw someone beating Maruschak. The Star Beacon reported that the beating likely took place at 3543 Woodbridge Ave., Cleveland. A search of the property revealed blood spattering in numerous locations, according to the affidavit. The newspaper also reported that during an interview, Alex Wulff told police an individual was trying to break into his house. He allegedly confronted the intruder and beat him with a baseball bat, according to the affidavit."Alex Wulff voluntarily indicated that he beat a white male that (police) later identified as John Maruschak," the affidavit stated. "Alex Wulff further indicated that he initially dumped the victim at Ansel Road and Wade Park in Cleveland, in a bushy area. Wulff indicated that he returned later and the victim was dead."So far, Maruschak's body has not been found. The Wulffs are scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning. On Tuesday, the Andover dive team was involved in a body recovery.Divers at the scene confirmed that they were looking for body parts that were allegedly distributed in two ponds two miles east of Denmark Center in Ashtabula County on Route 167.Cleveland police went to Ashtabula County Tuesday as part of a Cleveland homicide.Divers, most of them volunteers, have been searching the ponds located near the Wulff's property since early Tuesday morning. The divers did not find anything. They said their search is inhibited by very murky water with low visibility. The property that officials searched Tuesday belongs to the suspect's father, Max Wulff.
