UPDATED: 5:05 pm EDT July 18, 2008

A jury has reached a verdict in the attempted murder trial of Joseph Wilson.

The jury found Wilson not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of felonious assault, aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

Wilson was accused of participating in the New Year's Eve attack on Shaker Heights attorney Kevin McDermott.

Wilson took the stand in his own defense Thursday, saying that he witnessed the attack but didn't take part in it. Earlier, McDermott identified Wilson as one of the people who attacked him with a knife.

Wilson will be sentenced on Monday, the same day his brother and another co-defendant are set to go to trial.
