The Orange School District has no plans to close school after it was reported that one of its students has caught the H1N1 flu virus.

The 14-year-old girl from Pepper Pike goes to Orange Schools.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Health said she is doing fine after being diagnosed last weekend.

The health department is unaware of any other suspected cases within the school district.

This case marks the 24th H1N1 case in Ohio.

The health department is continuing to stress prevention measures such as covering coughs and proper hygiene habits, especially hand washing. For general questions, please call CCBH at 216-201-2091.
