CLEVELAND -- A Case Western Reserve University law student filed a lawsuit this week against Reserve Square Apartments.

He said his apartment is infested with bedbugs.

Joshua Bobrowsky said bedbugs in three Reserve Square apartments left him with painful welts and months of psychological and emotional distress. He's looking for $142,000 in damages.

In an interview with the Plain Dealer, the 26-year-old said he couldn't sleep, and life was not enjoyable because everything he owned was infested.

A lawyer for the owners of Reserve Square is investigating the allegations.

Officials from the Cleveland Health Department said they have received no complaints from any other tenants.
