Grocery Store Employee Contracts MRSA

An employee at a Bay Village grocery store has come down with a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus staff infection.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Health confirmed that the Heinen's employee has the infection but said that it is not a public health concern.

The board of health said the person was somewhere where customers could not access and that it is expected to be resolved without incident.
