Police Continue Search For Gunman In Bank Robbery

PARMA, Ohio -- A Parma school is no longer on lockdown Thursday afternoon following an armed bank robbery.Police said the Charter One Bank of Chevrolet Boulevard was robbed around 11 a.m. May 1: Parma Bank Robbery Police said the robber walked into the bank and handed the teller a note. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash, heading south on Chevrolet in an older, gold four-door vehicle, possibly a Dodge Dynasty.Police determined that the gunman no longer poses a threat for students so they lifted the lockdown order at James Hanna Elementary on Snow Road.Police are continuing to look for the gunman. He is described as a man in his late 30s or 40s and is possibly Hispanic.The Cleveland FBI has indicated there a reward for information leading to his arrest.
