This is one of the interactive slots that ThistleDown will feature that is different from what you will find at the state's casinos. Racinos are governed by the Ohio Lottery not the Casino Control Commission so they are able to offer different games.

Walls around the gaming floor will feature murals celebrating both Cleveland sports and Thistledown history.

On the east end of the gaming floor is "Slush" The bar will feature more than 20 flavors of frozen drinks. To the left are the doors leading to the track where there will be an outdoor bar, slots and smoking. To the right will be a performance stage.

New employees undergo training while sitting in what will eventually be known as "The Diner."  A 1950s styled diner on the west end of the casino floor.

Nearly 1,200 chairs sit covered in plastic. They were made by Gasser Chair of Youngstown. Gasser was the first to make chairs for slots when company founder George Gasser convinced Harrah's founder Bill Harrah people would play longer if seated.

As you come in the main entrance to ThistleDown directly in front of you will be the appropriately named Center Bar. The sports bar's 17 big screen tv's still are awaiting installation. The bar will also feature personal table top audio.

One of the additions to the track is a porte cochere extending from the main entrance that will protect those being dropped off from the elements.

Crews earlier this month installed a new "Thistledown Racino" sign atop the North Randall track.
