EASTLAKE, Ohio -- Dakota, a dog rescued from a burning building in Eastlake earlier this week, is listed in stable condition.

The dog’s owner, Rick Paulsen, is also listed in stable condition.

Dakota has fluid on his lungs and suffered burns on over 50 percent of his body.

Donations have been pouring in for Dakota, the dog, since Paulsen’s daughters made a plea for help.

Dakota is in an oxygen cage getting treatment at the great lakes veterinary specialists in Bedford Heights.

Dakota will stay in the oxygen cage for at least another day and may need skin grafts.

The cost could be $15,000.
