AKRON, Ohio -- A fugitive wanted on felonious assault and robbery charges has been arrested in Akron.

Police said they arrested Antwaine Hammond Thursday night in the 400 block of West Bartges Street. Officers said he was in possession of a loaded SKS rifle at the time of his arrest.

Hammond is suspected in crimes committed in 2007 and 2008.
