Grandma's Homestead shared the recipe Thursday for Cornflake Crispies, which are also known as "When Your Husband Gets Mad At You Cookies."

Ingredients

  • 2 cups light Karo
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large 24 oz. box of cornflakes

Directions:

Bring Karo and sugar to a boil. Allow a rolling boil for about 30 seconds. Add peanut butter and turn down heat. After peanut butter is combined well pour the mixture over cornflakes. That's it, no baking necessary!

Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper and cool.

Merry Christmas from Grandma's.
