PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The new school year brought new concerns for parents in one local school district about head lice.

There have been several new cases of lice at Riverside Local School District in Painesville.

The school's superintendent held an informative meeting for parents and the local health department.

Nurses there gave advice on how to keep lice from spreading.

Health officials also said that having lice is not a reflection of personal hygiene.
